How To Choose A Wedding Bouquet That Is Right For You
One of the toughest parts of arranging a wedding is determining what type of wedding bouquet to use.
It' s definitely not easy, since you have to pick a wedding bouquet which is right for you, and at the same time, make sure this suits the rest of the bridal party, and fits the style and theme of the wedding.
And then you need to choose a bouquet that suits your bodyshape.
If you get this wrong, rather than show off your best features, the bouquet will actually highlight your worst flaws!
This is certainly something you should avoid if you dont want to be cringing every time you start to see the wedding photos!
I' ll let you know how to pick the right bouquet for your body shape shortly, but first I' d like to give you a little advice…
Friends, family, and also complete strangers will all desire to help you choose which bouquet you obtain. They' ll have advice on colors, shapes, and flowers. If you' re lucky they' ll all be agreeing on what they like. But more likely, they' ll all be giving you different and competitive advice.
One friend will undoubtedly be advising on roses because she really likes them, while yet another friend will be telling you to stay from roses.
One person will undoubtedly be advising that you need pale colors, while another will say that colors are not very romantic!
Do not listen to any of them!
It' s YOUR wedding, and it' s YOUR opinion that matters. Thank your family and friends for their ideas, but choose something that YOU like. Do maybe not make any decisions because another person told you to do it that way!
Now that I' ve got that out of the way, I can tell you choosing your bouquet…
Start by looking through some bridal magazines, and getting a sense of what you like, and what you may not like.
While looking with the magazines, try and answer these six questions in your head:
1 . What colors do you want in your bouquet?
2 . What type of flowers would you like in your bouquet?
3. What shape bouquet do you want?
four. What size bouquet do you want?
5. What type of greenery would you like?
6. Would you like new flowers, or silk flowers?
I' m not going to give you any kind of advice on answering these questions, since really, it' s up to you.
There are four things I' d like to consider though…
1 – Silk flowers are usually cheaper than fresh flowers, yet look just as good, are not since expensive, and can be kept following the wedding without preserving.
two – The type of stems you select (natural or wired), will restrict the types of bouquet you can make.
3 – You should try and maintain the flower girl bouquets inside a similar style, but try to get them to smaller. After all, it' h YOU who is the star from the wedding.
4 – If you want to make your own wedding bridal bouquet, then silk flowers are much more reliable in its results, as you dont have to worry about damaging all of them.
Perhaps the most important thing to consider although is choosing the right style of bouquet for you shape…
1 . Short Ladies…
I recommend that short girls go for a large teardrop or sheath bouquet, as they need to add elevation. These two types of bouquets provide the illusion of length, were being a posy would make you look smaller and shorten you even more.
2 . Tall Ladies…
I suggest that tall ladies go for a big posy or a medium teardrop bridal bouquet. A large posy will attract the eye down and give people the focal point so that they will not be focusing on your own height. A medium teardrop may also draw the eye down so that your elevation looks a little more even.
a few. Large Ladies…
I recommend that will large ladies get a large bridal bouquet. A small bouquet will twist your width, and make you appear larger than you really are. Use a big bouquet, which will make you seem significantly slimmer.
The trick would be to choose a wedding bouquet shape that will flatters you, but at the same time, be sure that it does not take too much focus far from you. After all, you want to possess a beautiful wedding bouquet, but very you want people to be looking at YOU, not really your flowers!
I hope these types of guidelines help you when you are making a decision regarding your wedding bouquet. Always remember to choose what feels right- never select a bouquet solely based on other individuals suggestions (or because your favorite superstar had that bouquet when they obtained married). And remember a wedding should really be fun!
